Company History

JEM Innovation grew out of the individual consulting efforts of its President, Tim Gilbert.  It was founded in 2001 and incorporated as a closely held Colorado corporation in 2002. The two principal shareholder directors also serve as officers working for the company.

Management Profile

Tim Gilbert has 20 years experience as an electrical engineer with a real world experience in all aspects of product development.  He has experience in the aerospace industry, computer manufacturing and the military.  However, it was his role as a Senior Product Applications Engineer for a major semiconductor company that provided a unique combination of business and technical experiences that prepared him for the role of President and Chief Engineer at JEM Innovation.  As a factory apps engineer, he was involved in both the technical and business side of every product he supported. Generating reference designs and developing Evaluation Systems expanded his technical skills; supporting the Marketing and Sales force sharpened his business skills.  He holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering.  

Marlene Gilbert holds a CPA certificate with experience in both public and private practice.  She as worked for a CPA firm, private business and was the Payroll supervisor for a state university.  She has BA degrees in both Accounting and Business Management.
